Welcome to Palmetto State Migration! We are a husband and wife team based in Summerville, SC.  We are both US Air Force retirees that relocated from the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area. Our migration from the DMV to the Palmetto State was fueled by a desire for more days of sunshine and a lower cost of living. Nicole originally hails from the Richmond, VA area. She is an avid fan of the Washington Commanders and is a connoisseur of Maryland Blue Crabs! James is a native of Cleveland, OH and a fan of all things Cleveland and Ohio! (Browns, Cavs, Guardians & Buckeyes) 

After relocating we discovered that South Carolina has a robust community of migrants from all over the United States.  The most common reasons for migration we’ve noted are weather, job opportunities, cost of living and southern charm. From the elevations of the Upstate to the beaches of the Pee Dee and Lowcountry most appreciate the beauty of South Carolina, but still love to display pride in their home states. This was the inspiration to create a brand that would empower fellow migrants to proudly display both our appreciation for the Palmetto State and love for the places we call home. That's how Palmetto State Migration was born!
